Tanyanyiwa is facing charges of 52 counts of criminal abuse and 8 counts of fraud. He is allegedly believed to have took $165 000 from council coffers to buy his house in Chisipite, a low density surbub in Harare. He is also said to have illegally acquired 3 commercial stands using different shelf companies. On top of that the clerk is also believed to have prejudiced his employer of a wooping $170 000 when he bought himself an expensive Toyota Land cruiser V8 instead of buying three vehicles for the local authority.
The issue now is that this is only one top official in the council. So if all top officials in the local authority do the same, what service can they give to the public? These people are just busy feeding themselves at the expense of the public. Is this what they were elected for?
As the public , we are concerned with the ruling the judge will make. Please help us by arresting these corrupt people and putting them in prison. We cannot go on with these kinds of people otherwise as a country we gunning for a disaster .
